The Petersen also has a "vault" of cars that are rarely shown. We had a chance to take that tour, but for $25 we weren't convinced it was worth it. A later story in the newspaper on the vault tour confirmed our decision - the cars there are mostly noteworthy because of who owned them and not what they were.

An excellent birthday treat!
